5 Ways to Style Bud Vases for Your Wedding Centerpieces
Here at Best Buds Flower Co we go through a ton of bud vases because they are so versatile, pretty, and budget-friendly! There’s a variety of ways that you can use them throughout your event and style them to elevate the look. We’ll be featuring our Toffee Rose Collection, which artfully combines beautiful toffee, beige, and ivories together for a soft neutral look that feels inspired by nature. So you ready? Here we go!
3 Bud Vase Centerpiece
A simple, yet pretty look, 3 bud vases look best on tables 5ft round or smaller. If your venue has 6ft rounds, just 3 bud vases will leave your table feeling a little sparse in the center.
Individual bud vases or clustering 2-3 bud vases also works perfectly for cocktail hour tables on cafe or tall bistro tables.
Bud vases can easily be added anywhere to your event like on the bar, memory tables, and even bathrooms for a thoughtful touch.
3 Bud Vases and Votives Centerpiece
We’re always a BIG fan of adding candlelight to any reception table. Not only does it help fill-out the 3 bud vases making the table feel more visually full, but it also adds a beautiful twinkle of light to your tablescapes as the night goes on.
You can add rentals like votives to your wedding flower package order with Best Buds Flower Co, or you can easily add your own candles.
3 Bud Vases and 3 Pillar Candle Centerpiece
Another great way to elevate your bud vase centerpieces is by adding pillar candles or cylinder vases with floating candles in them.
This look works great on 4ft - 6ft tables without the table feeling empty. It adds the beautiful glow of candlelight to your reception too.
Always check your venue contract to make sure you know what types of candles you can use whether its real flame or LED.
5 Bud Vases and 3 Votives Centerpiece
Here we’re featuring 5 bud vases with 3 votives. If you like a more full look on your 5ft or 6ft round tables, this works perfectly.
Did you know that the rule of odd numbers goes back centuries to Feng Shui? The idea behind the odd number rule is that things arranged in odd numbers are more visually appealing and create more energy. As a design tip, we almost always cluster in odd numbers as shown with our bud vases.
Multiple Bud Vases Down Feasting Tables
One of our favorite looks for bud vases is down the center of long feasting tables. Combined with a gauzy table runner, lanterns, and other candle holders, you can easily create an elevated look. Many venues have their own lanterns or candle holders you can use and then just accessorize with our bud vases.
These lanterns and candle holders featured at The Honey Farm came from Lost and Found Rentals. When you book The Honey Farm, you get a rental credit to Lost and Found and can use it for table numbers, lanterns, or other tabletop decor or larger statement pieces.
We also can help you stretch your floral budget further by repurposing floral pieces. The ceremony arch piece was removed after the ceremony and added to the foot of the feasting table and sweetheart table to create beautiful focal points.
